TIMELINE AND DIAGRAM ANALYSIS

In this assignment, we have been given the buildings "The National Mosque Kuala Lumpur" and "Wisma Amanah Raya" to analyse. This research project involves documenting, analyzing, producing, and a critical chronological and diagrammatical interpretation of Modern Malaysia architectural history. We were to emphasize on the critical analysis of the post Merdeka/Independence of Malaysian architecture in the effort of understand the influences of post-modernism to architectural design and construction, building science and technology, and urban design. This project involves discussions, analysis interpretation and consultation with our tutors.

Through this project, I have learnt how to analyse and discuss the relationship of the Modern Architecture of Malaysia with social, cultural, environmental and intellectual context of Malaysian architecture port Merdeka. There are various factors that have contributed in the development of Modern Malaysian Architecture. In this assignment, we were able to produce a diagrammatic analysis illustratively and in text, a critical chronology analysis interpretation of Modern Malaysian Architecture.
