Generations ago, residents of Fair park thrive off interaction and maintained close relationships with their neighbours. But gradual commercialisation of the garden begins to disrupt local livelihood, slowly removing local sense of belonging, replaced with, is the unfamiliarity that replaces its authenticity with something unagreeable. Design should emphasize on balancing the intersecting values of the old and new to revive the forgotten sense of community in Fair Park.
