This assignment introduces us to the building materials that are commonly used in the construction industry. The spaces or building selected to study allow us to understand the reasoning behind choices made by architects / designers in terms of concepts, functions, environmental response, structural requirement, availability of resources and etc.

In a group of 7, we are to select an exciting commercial building, which is the Putrajaya International Convention Centre, that can give us experience in exploring most of the building materials covered in the module. We are required to produce 2 A2 boards and 1 mood board in a group, and 1 board regarding a chosen space individually.
